I can see how to import .act, ASE and ASE as well as website urls. but no way to import a color scheme ending in .cs.
I saved a folder of those I wanted to play with and or use and would like to import them so that I can just pick from a menu. Ive got a little freebie tool not made by color schemer that does this with other swatches that Ive made, named and saved, though it does not have all the cool features of color schemer...that one thing is very important to use.
Im not sure I would have purchased this tool if I knew I could not choose the palettes in some way.
help? am I missing something?

okay I figured out I can open these one at a time..which is a little tedious, but Im not finding a way to save them to any kind of favorites list that can be accessed from a menu. If I am missing something please advise. thanks!

Hi Katherine,
Thanks for your questions - hopefully I can clear things up a little for you.
ColorSchemer Studio allows you to open and save .CS (ColorSchemer) files containing the colors you've added to the list on the right-hand side of the program. This allows you to create your own custom color schemes, and then save the colors to a file that you can open when you want to edit/tweak/export your colors later on. You can do all of this from the menu "File" -> "Open" (or "Save").
Currently, opening a new .CS file will replace your existing color scheme. However, you bring up a great suggestion to be able to import .CS files as well as all of the other formats that CS Studio can currently import. I can see how this would be helpful to you if you're trying to combine multiple color schemes together into one larger scheme. So I've added this to the to-do list for a future release.
If this is a critical issue for you, there is a possible workaround (though it requires a couple extra steps):
1) Open a downloaded .CS file in the app.
2) Using the menu "File" -> "Export Assistant...", export the colors to a .ACO file.
3) You can now use the exported .ACO file to import the colors back into the program, which will add them to the end of your color list on the right-hand side.
I hope that helps as a temporary workaround, while I work on adding a .CS file import for a future release.
Thanks again for your feedback and ideas Katherine!

Thanks Aaron this is helpful!
Id love to have a "wish" added to your next production iteration, in addition to importing a .cs file, ...a button or menu select which lets the user change the size of the swatches. Id rather see them small when I have many open so I can see more at a glance. :-)
