My spare bedroom is quite a long narrow room. there is a 12 foot window along one of the long sides. It gets direct sunlight almost all day. i want it to have a shabby chic look. the furniture is a double wardrobe, dressing table and tall chest of drawers, all in white. A dressing table stool with queen anne style legs. I want to get a single 2ft 6" wide bed with metal ends in cream so that it can double as a day bed. The fabric I intend to use is white with tiny pink rosebuds. I have lots of porcelain orniments in this rosebud design, which I would like to use. I also have a triple mirror for the dressing table with white/gold ornate surround.
My carpet is light grey but I am considering removing it and having fitted vinyl with rug. I a not sure what to do for the walls. I have looked at paper but think paint may be best. I ws going to do it in pink to match the roses or green to match the leaves on the roses. Then I thought it might look a bit too much. what do you think of grey walls?? Or have you any other ideas for me?
